The academy’s program is directed towards improving organised grass root football considering several aspects of the school and student. Details for trials that will be conducted for the scholarship selection is given below:

Selection criterion and others:

1. Students with a financially backward background.

2. Boys and girls in the 8-12 year age group.

3. Football talent, interest and fitness.

4. Attendance is a very important factor.

5. Sponsorship is renewed annually up-to 3 years based on performance and potential.

 

When do we call for selections?
While we do identify talent through the year it is typically around April/May for the year ahead.

• Only 14 students will be tested in one selection batch.

• A total of 30 responses will be admitted.

• Importantly, please wear football shoes meant for 3rd generation artificial grass pitch. Football shoes termed FG/FxG/AG/TF only will be permitted.

• If you don’t have or can’t borrow one, these shoes are available at Prakrida for purchase at an economical price with a student discount.
