Coach Jaykumar is from Bangalore and comes with a wealth of playing and coaching experience thru the ages.

- 15 years of experience playing Football for BDA 'A' division teams like ADE, AGORC and BEML Football teams.
- Coached Shining Star Football club (C division) for 2 years. 

- Experience in coaching elite competitive swimmers. 
Senior Swim Coach for Aqua Swim Centre at Indian Gymkhana club. 

- Fitness Trainer- Experienced Health and Fitness Coach conducting training for middle aged 5 days a week.

A variety of experiences matter in our coaching methods at foundation and coach Jaykumar contributes differently to the team with his outlook.

Rohit Kumar

I completed my schooling from St Patrick’s high school, Bangalore. I was trained in two sports from a young age– in football, as a mid-field/forward and in hockey, as a goalkeeper.

My team won the Championship in the Taluk level; and came runners up in district during this time. I represented Karnataka state football at high school in year 1997 and  under 16 in 1999 as a mid-field player. Thereafter, I was selected for Indian camp under-16, and practiced very hard to win tournaments.

I completed my junior college from Baldwin Methodist College and played actively in several tournaments. In 2001, I was trained under the chief coach for United Bangalore (UB) and FC Cochin club and played two seasons for Karnataka state super division league.

After an injury I had to sit out for third season and returned home from tour. From  2005, I have been conducting summer camps for U6, U8 and U15 and working on my coaching skills.

It’s a blessing to pass on my knowledge of the game to the younger players. It gives me immense satisfaction in helping young talent grow and I want to lend that helping hand coaching these athlete’s on and off the field.

Working with Prakrida allows me to exhibit my skills as a coach and I am happy to be associated with the academy.

Rohit holds a  football coaching "D" certification by BDFA.

Prem Sagar

I attended school at St. Meera’s high school, Bangalore. I began playing organized football by representing JJ Institute football Club in my 7th grade. I was the youngest player in the team and played as a right wing back. We were the taluk champions for two years in 2005 & 2006.

During this time, I played for Bangalore Blues Football Club in 2007, Bangalore Mars in 2008, 515 Army Base Workshop in 2009.

I joined SMGH Jain PU college Indiranagar in 2010. We won the Bangalore South district football tournament in the year 2010 under my captaincy. I represented the Bangalore University football team in the year 2012. 

After the completion of my graduation, I joined as a physical director at SMGH Jain PU college from 2014 to 2017.

I also worked in DPH high school, Bangalore.

I have been actively training students in football, cricket and throwball. We have won laurels in many intercollege tournaments.

I am currently working in Global International School, Bangalore as a physical director (M PED). 

I am passionate about my work because I love encouraging sports and discipline to students.

I am happy to be associated with Prakrida Football Academy to showcase my talent and enhance the skills of the students in the academy.

 

Hemant Varghese

The outdoors came to me naturally. It was formal cricket training for Bangalore Public School, in the morning and football practice for C Division, Rangers FC, Indiranagar in the evenings from 1988 at the age of 14.

 

I played for Vijaya College, Bangalore University in addition along with the club league. During my graduation in commerce in 1995, I came to a career cross road. I choose the later and was fortunate to be employed in areas which best suited a sportsman.

 

My interest in football has not waned during this time. Rain or shine, day or night, there has been a regular game for recreation or corporate tournaments. Coaching children football has been a fantastic learning from 2009 and initiation of the academy.

 

After about 19 years of service with organizations like Jet Airways, Siemens, Dell, Kingfisher Airlines and Bangalore International Airport Ltd, experiences from my travel, I have saved up for a venture of my own. We started the academy on 26 December 2015. Its purpose, primarily, is to encourage grass root sports, especially football holistically and in an area I have resided for almost-ever!

I hold a Football Association Level 1 workshop coaching certification, issued by the Middlesex FA, London 2020.
